All my professional life has developed in Television. During more than 30 years I have been obtaining valuable experience thanks to my work in several companies (most of them multinationals) that have provided me with a global vision of this business.
I have worked for many TV channels, I have seen many of them be born and I was able to contribute to their creation and growth. And I consider myself very lucky for that. I saw the creation of Telecinco (Mediaset Espana) where I occupied, among others, the position of Director of General Services, which allowed me to become familiar with management of costs and negotiations.
My education as a Telecommunications Engineer has allowed me to obtain a multidisciplinary set of skills. I started as the responsible person for the shooting in TV sets, both in the technical and human side. From there, projects grew in complexity and variety. Today, I can say I have had the privilege to participate in virtually all the areas that give form to a TV channel.
Television is passion, creativity and immediacy. The key is to make it grow with the adequate costs.
I have occupied management positions in two of the most important audio-visual companies in Spain such as Tres60 and Grupo Secuoya. In this last one I carried out the initial design of the production centre La Ciudad de la Tele (The city of television) which is to this day one of the most important conglomerates in Spain and which required an unprecedented technical and managerial effort.
I have created companies from scratch such as CBM, specialized in providing human and technical resources to TV channels and studios from a cost benefit analysis perspective, offering the solutions to improve cost effectiveness.
As Operations and Services director of Tres60 Group I was responsible for all the operations of all the companies forming this group such as Telson, Videoreport, LSL, Acicala and Rez.
At the same time, I participated in the elaboration of all the documents necessary for the tendering process in the award of management contracts, most of the time evaluated under cost basis criteria.
I am currently working as Director of Control for the management of AmericaTeve. I firmly believe that my experience can be extremely useful for other production companies or TV channels and that is why I created Estudio3 USA, a consulting focused in the audio-visual industry that knows how to generate value for its clients.
